The government of Germany under
the leadership of Chancellor Angela Merkel has introduced new measures in the
immigration policy of the country that will see many positive changes for the Germany
job seeker visa holders
The GERMANY
JOB SEEKER VISA is a temporary residency Permit that allows individuals
who are interested in immigration to Germany to live in the country for a
maximum period of six months in order to search for a job with an employer who
would be willing to sponsor you for a work permit. The Germany job seeker visa
is a good way to explore the country and see if you fit in with the culture
before settling down for a long term visa.
New Changes to Germany Job Seeker Visa Process
Previously immigrant workers who
came under the skilled occupations category were able to work in Germany only
if their occupation was classified as an in-demand job by the federal
employment agency of Germany or the ZAV (Zentrale Auslands- und
Fachvermittelung). However these restrictions are being eased with the new policies
and any person, who has successfully completed a qualified vocational training course
or professional in occupations such as plumbing, carpentry, repair work and
others, will be allowed to fill a position if it is available without having to
wait and see if no German citizen will fill it.
These new changes to the
immigration policy are representative of a long standing dilemma faced by the
German economy – that of a rapidly increasing ageing population and a rapidly
declining population in the work force. The German government is in desperate
need of more immigrant workers and this phase can be a golden opportunity for
people who are thinking about moving to Germany and starting a new life in the
modern country.
The standard of living in Germany
is on par with other developed countries and there are a number of
opportunities awaiting sincere and skilled workers due to the presence of a
number of well-established and behemoth multinational companies across various
industries. Many immigrants, who come to the country on a Germany job seekers visa, find jobs without any trouble or hassles,
especially if they are fluent in the German language. It is therefore highly
recommended that any person who is interested in moving to Germany, should make
the effort of learning the German language. Nearly 99 percent of the jobs,
except for a few jobs in the IT sector, require you to speak in German.
Moreover, being able to communicate in the native language will also make
settling down in the country much easier for you and your family. For more
